In Obertauern, a total of 6,5 km of tobogganing fun on two runners awaits you – either during the day or on the floodlit toboggan run at night. The popular Gnadenalm toboggan run is only a few minutes away from Hotel Almschlössl & Schrotteralm.
Gnadenalm Toboggan Run
The Gnadenalm toboggan run is very popular and is only a few minutes away from our hotel. The toboggan run is 1,5 kilometres long and is also floodlit at night.
The starting point can be easily reached, either by walking through snowy Obertauern or you can race up to the starting point on a 120 PS strong Skidoo - taxi. The toboggans are hung on to the back of the Skidoo and then off you go.
You can, of course, hire toboggans directly from the Gnadenalm.

Toboggan run at the "Südwienerhütte" mountain hut
5 km long toboggan run in Obertauern
Why not combine a winter walk on the best prepared forest paths to the "Südwienerhütte" mountain hut with a fun tobogganing session. After a refreshment in the hut, you can get going! The toboggan run starts directly in front of the “Südwienerhütte“ mountain hut and is about 5 km long. The toboggans can be hired directly from the hut.
